YAY! get to hold college flag for NDOP. Quite slack actually, no need fold flag or anything liddat. basically is like walking and handing flag over only haha. Today was very boring cos i nvr do all my tutorials then i could only fake, esp bio. Even Joel toh got faked i think i have been faking PD well for this term. Kinda numbed to it alr, how? will do v badly for bio... yesterday was National Track and Field meet. not much to talk abt, jus that it was BADLY coordinated. but nvm la better than expected already. Pity that we are no longer champion.
Today was rather hum-drum. Getting to the end of the week so pace slowing down le. Stupid wx and hq change so long, made us wait. But shu hui came to ask for help to paint some seniors' farewell stuff. felt kinda bad but i couldnt go. haiz. she almost cried until she called nat and she agreed to come down. haiz poor things. I wish that there's more communication in the 37th. kinda disappointing. Ya hang in there kz? and kai ru as well, dont let things bog u down.

House session on Monday. Didnt go as well as planned, but supposing it came from NJ students, u really cant expect too much. At least AO2 saved us lots, so thank ya ppl. Too many things v impromptu le and the feedback session was jus out of place. And jus 1 person should have chaired instead of many. and shld not have been out of place la. haiz too many things le, but it's jus our first time...and according to other houses we are not the worse le. I think aerius suffered blackout and such while the rest also had those AP ppl.

enjoyed my day today with some of the OTC '04 Sierra peeps. Namely kai en, jeremy, kah hui, gina and jie yee. The rest couldnt make it but too bad lor haha. Met at TM Food Court and talked crap for 2 hours (with gina and Jeremy ard that's wholly possible.) wanted to celebrate jy's bdae...she was totally unaware until they sprung on her in tampines. Was waiting for Kai En as well, and was feeling quite ill...like flu la. Well the gummies were v nice, all the sour sour stuff and this blackcurrent gummy bear. They are such crappy and fun ppl, and kah hui spilled the beans on Gina's secret activities during Camp. tsktsk. sponging siaz.
So when kai en came, we decided to go watch a movie, albeit the higher cost on a sunday. But nvm la, was supposed to celebrate jie yee's bdae. wanted to watch mean girls. gina too but too late le. so ended up watching house of flying daggers (ella enchanted was considered too) even though it had started. Didnt regret it la. Nice use of colours: green, red, white, yellow, blue, each meaning something if im not being oversensitive to colours. and the story focussed on small characters instead of the imperial bigshots and rebels' ideals etc. refreshing perspective i would say. and the fight scenes were most charateristic of Zhang Yimou, like that you would find in "Hero". But it was a tad predictable haha, and some parts were jus fabulously amazing, like the one in the bamboo forest. Pity that there was a part that was censored; felt like something was missing. weird. and some parts were just abstract, but the storyline was developed quite well la. and the usual elaborate set and costumes of chinese periods. The ending was rather erm, silly, but i suppose they are experimenting ya? Jus go watch yrselves la, but it's not as great as hero, i would say. But it's still better than taegukgi, which was more one-sided than i could say and jus horrid la. haha maebe im biased against war films but so sorry cant resist slamming it.
After that we went on our secret mission to buy cake for Jie yee. Decided on Royal CHocolate from polar puffs and cakes and went to LJS at Century Sq to wait while kai en brought the rest there. Kinda embarrassing waiting for them while i set up the candles and lit them. By the time they were there they had almost finished burning! lol. The best part was the smearing of the rich chocolate over faces. Of course the bdae girl had to get it, but when all 3 of the girls went to the toilet to wash up and came back, we did it again, this time targeting all of them. Apparently everyone else in LJS was watching but none of us bothered. Even the BK patrons stared when we ran past, according to gina but aiya not wearing anything school related, so i guess it's ok to have some fun. Jeremy said the next time would be at Gina's 18th bdae bash. hehe shall see bout that. esp kah hui's 4 days earlier than gina, but 1 year older. haiz shall wait for J to plan then. First time did something so wild. Everytime we met for course, all had to be prim and proper. didnt like it la but wad to do? mus conform wad. haiz. Was feeling rATher miserable today when i had to go down to EMI to collect the sample collar pins. The day jus didnt seem rite to start with PH pract. yucks. hate skill D. Luckily Ong went thru it before so i didnt really have to squeeze my brains out. And the parade was very draggy and we had not enough ranks to give out. how distasteful. hmmm...Since i was at aljunied (to collect the collar pin samples, which u can see on monday, and xiaomin's nametag), i had the sudden urge to go airport for popeye's. missed the cajun ashed potatoes...BUT IT WAS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS!! ARGH!!! and ppl were referred to this rip-off food court which charged $6.50 for chicken rice! and around were restaurants like sakae sushi and crystal jade restaurant. Naturally, being located at the airport, prices were more exorbitant than usual and throw in the GST and service charges i would have gone pok. haha. Even swenson's ice cream was appealing but i jus gave up and went for BK chicken whopper meal ($3.90 since it's on offer to celebrate our 39th birthday...) and stoned there. Looked at this guy eating and he chowed with his mouth open! how rude la, doesnt he know im looking? haha and how rude to look as well. oh nvm. and i nvr knew they offered barley at BK. i always thought it was jus the usual gassy drinks... and since brandon and andy couldnt make it and sAMuel yeo didnt want to come, i had to be alone. sux....wanted to jus sit there and pretend to be inconspicuous. was in those kinda pensive, depressed moods again. mus have been a lack of sleep. wanted to go catch "mean girls" since i could only make do with TaeGukGi yesterday but decided against a $8.50 Ticket. but maebe going tml with the OTC 2004 Sierra ppl so it's a prudent decision yup. haha saved $8.50 today for tml. And decided to skip the taka food fair as well. wanted to go there. but oh well......trained home and was falling asleep while standing. how absolutely mortifying haha. but felt much better after sleeping till 8+ from 4. real tired.

Had to reach at 7 in the morning but was late becos stupid clock was 1/2 h behind time. so i thot i woke up at 0530h and took my time to do everything. haiz, in the end wasted $8 on taxi, and $2 was on U-turn! grrrrr... Had a seemingly long day today, mus be cos of the tutorials. at least PE was fun, we did hockey and didnt exactly play professionally but still it was enjoyable. movie after that was kinda disappointing though. Not enough ticx for meangirls for all of us to seat together, so we settled for brotherhood. maebe it's jus me but wad's so nice abt war films inciting mindless violence and showing massacres scene after scene. It did have some redeeming parts but the overall feel i got from the show was jus.....disturbing. haiz maebe im not used to it. Tml got PH make up prac. Haiz so sian, at 8 so mus wake up early early. Then promotion parade's at 1030, which means i mus rush down after prac and mae even be late after all. Then after all that i mus go down to EMI at aljunied AGAIN to pick up xiaomin's nametag, collar pin samples and make a new nametag for ferleen. Anyone who's name had any errors on their nametags, pls tell me so i can tRY to arrange for a change. Thx.

BLAH!!! they are jus stingy. why cant they admit it? breaking so many national records and getting a whole volley of accolades is not enough to earn a half day? why mus u recognise canoeing only? as if the culmination of college day food fair CO, chess and bridge, art, swimming, shooting, etc is not enough to warrant a half day. we jus dont get ur point. try explaining and not jus give a NO! pretentious harpy hAgs! hARlots! blah! and the air con is not cold enough. wad have u been instructing the OM? to leave us with 20 mins of coolER air for a lecture? or remove all the printers from the library leaving only one with a depleted toner? and they cant even provide paper? it's no longer a matter of independence. it's our WELFARE! u cant even provide us with the necessary facilities and resources, and u make such demanding expectations. how ABSURD! and the toilets dont look like they can drain away 2 thin pieces of toilet paper, with the DISMAL flushing system. are u really taking in feedback? u cant even respond to a poor student's cry for help. u wont listen to us but remember that we are first and foremost STUDENTS!

Jus came back frm sch. Poor bea and davina had to stay in library for duty and face some deranged, senile adn definitely bitchy librarian. poor all of us who are going to be on duty. doesnt the school have enough librarians already? what are they doing?!!
And im plagued with so much useless stuff from project work. Weixuan was right. They should have incorporated it into topics we study for A levels so it becomes more interesting! Now we have like lots of surveys and stuff to do on lame and artsy-fartsy crap which is driving everyone nuts but still have to pretend to like it or at the very least present it in a very delectable manner. CRAP!

At last RHD was over. Much different from the rehearsals cos of the pri. sch kids. my team, 13C, comprised only IJ Katong pri girls and they were very disppointed when they couldnt finish the last port cos of some channel i interview. They were mostly of mixed-blood(for lack of a better word) and i guess that was why they were selected to go for the disgusting programme.poor things, but anyways their misery of steeping on muddy grass was shortlived while our torture of waiting for nothing was.....err. nvm.
After RHD, stjohn took up like the whole of the afternoon. cant imagine the discussion with mdm ng to take sooooooo long. haiz nvm la at least we settled upon some stuff. then went to meet samuel and brandon at AMK station to go chomp chomp. Brandon was doing his PW survey and we kinda bumped into everyone else going there at AMK station. Then saw yi xian on the bus and found his class ppl there as well. Place was SO crowded dont noe how S16 got their seats in the first place la mus have camped long long. we had to wait like 1 h for the seats. blah! but the sharing of food was errrr..gd and bad la. We waited for so long for the stuff to come then blardy hell it disappeared in less than 5 minutes. like they had not eaten in 20000 yrs la! :( haiz dun want to comment further. but at least it tasted good so fine then. jus that we couldnt take our time to enjoy the food. And bumped into prasee while leaving the place. haha so qiao. last saw her during RHD that morning. brrr..
Then went to somerset to play pool. i didnt play la, didnt feel like it then groused to minzheng abt horrors of JC life. seems that it prevails in most of our JCs. Didnt like it too when ppl were slothy in their movements. Jus like when we were about to leave chomp chomp and leaving the pool place? jus bitching abt obstucting the flow of traffic wasnt exactly a very gd idea of chilling out, risking public wrath. Haiz, should have jus went home, cos i was jus fermenting there for the hour and had been out for almost 18 hours alr. tireddd..
Am stuck at home today typing minutes for yesterday's meeting and also one for PW, dated 12/5/2004!!!! argh! maebe go to amk later see shows. have been wearing the pair now for er....2 months? haha dunno but feeling real dirrrrrty alr.

did not blogged yesterday. This has been a much better week, even though we were more busier with CIA meetings, open day, ndc and such. Enjoyed myself most of the time, cept for the times when we had to produce tutorials. got to know lotsa stuff (feel like a ba-po) and pretty much slacked alot. Went ard toa payoh with Mavis and Yuman yesterday, to bring Mavis to try what she cannot in hong kong and the best was, in my opinion, the nonya kuehs. Went to support NJ swimming before that but only won like 1st once and others couldnt remember la. but at least we won something and ah...they finished the race and not stopped halfway, so it's gd la ya?. Nvr been to swimming meet before, didnt know it could be so...erm....exciting? haha. Got many different events and this cheesy rockband formed by national swimmers. wadever, still enjoyed myself there at least..1 way or another. Going to be end of week soon, and promos shld be less than 9 wks away. not gotten over CTs yet. aiya heck la. mus relax more first. still got many other things to settle anyways. (:

Had CIA meeting yesterday. kinda draggy but in the end still got thru it. perhaps Julito shld have thot of the agenda more in advance. dunno la. they said would take less time in future. :) Then my receipts got rejected! haiz. accoring to sho hor, it was too messy. haha nvm la. 1st time, forgive me k. anyways owe u all like $457.90 in total. sooooooorrry. CIA's even richer than treasury. wad nonsense is this?!! council fund needs to be buffed up soon...
Then went for dinner with em aft the meeting and brent joined like not long after. apparently someone did something to bobby, and he wasnt v pleased thruout dinner. poor bobby. ;) Was quite enjoyable la. would be stuck with those ppl for the next yr or so. mus grow to like them...haha, make them sound so horrible. Oops! But i found out today anyways. hehe. shhhhhh.
today was the 2nd day mavis went ard with me. i guess im a lousier host than yuman cos i didnt interact with her much. most of the breaks i told her to do what she liked, while i went off with samuel and co.....as usual. haha. Tml would be day 3 and since both yuman and i have to go TP swimming complex to cheer, she has to come along before we set of for dinner. GREAT! how boring! But it'd be slack in sch anyways since i only have ph prac and PW tml. either ways.... and ya, would be missing PW AGAIN!! Starting to feel guilty le. like the no. of times i missed is 2x the no. of times i attended.
Went back to cat high for mentoring today. clocked about 3.5 hours more. been so long since i went back. it felt kinda foreign now, since i didnt really see many of the familiar faces 'cept for the yr 4s. even the council has like so many new ppl in it. haiz. it's jus not our time anymore. haha. but still enjoyed their company. kinda exploited 20 ppl to do surveys, but not feeling bad leh. haha it'll come ard i guess. And ya, heard more stories abt hak boon liaoz. that idiot!(it's an understatement!). haiz, really dunno wad will stop him. Stop it, pls, jus stop it, but im not begging u.

Went to HQ early for soccer tournament meeting, then saw some of them there for the ANCO camp meeting. but it was pretty mundane la. standard stuff, not worth much to rant about here. and it's samiu yeo's bdae la. supposed to lunch at Raffles city but he couldnt make it. Big alr lor bdae BOy wad. haha. he's 17 alr lor, can u believe it?(ppl who noe him la)
Ignis outing was actually the highlight of the day. Too bad prasee, bea, davina, keefe and marco couldnt turn up. So in the end only you kai, silin, brenda, emmiline, richard, kim, yuman and me went, together with derek, kat, rash, kaimin, ruilin and jianhong. (that's more like all of ignis for now :D) Went to you kai's place, which is vacant and really like a chalet. too bad we didnt really plan before hand properly, so like many things were missing. didnt get to do the choco fondue in the end too cos there was no gas! haaha. wad to do? jus finished the strawberries and grapes in the end. played 'have u ever', which was actually quite....err..nvm:)
Then you kai ordered pizza. ignis is a poor house. almost didnt have money to pay haha. but in the end still got it thru. the pizza was quite nice la, better than pizza hut's but i dunno why some ppl still prefer the latter. the crust is like urgh la. hehz. Then got to play bridge too. didnt play mahjong.dunno y, maebe no mood. But we all watched Home alone 3, and the protagonist was, according to rash and kat, v cute! haha. more of precocious rather. too smart for someone his age la. Had an enjoyable day. wasnt like wow! fantastic! kinda thing but more of a simple get together la. relaxed. lazing around, and ppl whu noe how to talk crap chatting away. different from the work we do whenever we meet la. so it's still good i suppose. :) Just that tml's a monday and sch resumes! Then you kai ordered pizza. ignis is a poor house. almost didnt have money to pay haha. but in the end still got it thru. the pizza was quite nice la, better than pizza hut's but i dunno why some ppl still prefer the latter. the crust is like urgh la. hehz. Then got to play bridge too. didnt play mahjong.dunno y, maebe no mood. But we all watched Home alone 3, and the protagonist was, according to rash and kat, v cute! haha. more of precocious rather. too smart for someone his age la. Had an enjoyable day. wasnt like wow! fantastic! kinda thing but more of a simple get together la. relaxed. lazing around, and ppl whu noe how to talk crap chatting away. different from the work we do whenever we meet la. so it's still good i suppose. :) Just that tml's a monday and sch resumes! ARGH!

RHD was ROTTEN! Never liked MOE Initiatives and today's event jus served to reaugment the pt. The whole sordid affair was jus revolting. Imagine wasting over 2 hours waiting. Jus shows lousy planning and we could have ended at abt 3 instead of 5!!! and running thru certain motions as if we are idiots; an utter insult to our intelligence! Then they had to be superfluous in their instructions to us, adding irrelevant details of some insignificant history. as if we care, hello! and the food sucked and so many pang seh us. haiz. nvm next week would be the last day alr and i cant wait to get it over with. Highly didactic indoctrinations and propaganda la. PuI! Salacious whores and sluttish himbos!(sorry for the crude language) But really, a nefarious travesty of educators la. Made me miss busking and sink into a state of delirium and depression. Ugh!
At least dinner after that wasnt that bad. Ate mos. After much controversy about the 's, decided that macs would be macs and not mac. then brent had to go say mos'. DUH! only made chris laugh non-stop. but nvm. started getting crazy after davina beatrice and brenda came. cos davina's bimbotic persona was hilarious. and beatrice's sudden public outburst was no less funny. "You are walking so slowly!" and something about owning wisma/orchard road. haha. She always had that look to kill but nvr demonstrated her prowess till today. :D Then brent, victor, chris and i were, according to Davina, so distasteful. haha. SHouldnt let u in on the details of long, cylindrical and hexgonal Ama(s). Not to forget colours and all. At least half the day was saved.
Jus chatting with me cadet. said that someone was not happy with me reprimanding them. aiya wadever la. it's really true that u are in the wrong if u set impossible standards and expect ppl to comply while u stroll in yrself, late, like some royal highness. no wonder our corp efficiency is stagnant. want to bring to mdm ng then bring lor. aiya anyways i have better things to do than worry about this, like trying to complete my tutorials. haiz cant go for next wk's promotion parade unless i cut RHD (which is actually a gd idea). and wad's all this abt power struggle and the symbolism of promotions? dont really get it la but hate to deal with this kinda stuff. complicated human interactions. devilish actally. oh well, cant have everything my way, can i?

Went to wendy's yesterday for EL gathering. thx to wendy andh er husband, fong, we had a place to use and very nice guests. Mr tan went with his gf, boon chue, eugene, boonkiat, vince, daryl, kp, zicheng, bert and moi. It was a simple affair, really, but very heart warming. jus seeing everyone there made me feel fuzzy. the food was gd too. haha got tony roma's ribs.mmmm. then wendy offered lots of chocolate to us, after dinner. thing was, she offered chocolate fondue before that. desserts before the meal. nevertheless it was still very gd, the chocolate was thick and the fruits were fresh. i learnt how to do the chocolate thing, intending to do it this sun for the ignis thing. hope i dont mess up, but wadever it is, wad they dont know wont hurt them. oops. and ya, finally got the name la, it's fondue, f-o-n-d-u-e. there's cheese as well but it's harder to make so forget it la. :D
Wendy's going overseas for ther masters. bought 4 keychains at $4 each to support her cause. she would be leaving in wad, september and returning next feb if all goes well. hope she can come back early then we can meet again, most hopefully CNY...hehe. she's really a great cook and like even better director la. miss her directions and all that. funny person to boot, great personality. okok im not selling her. pt is, i miss the yr of 'painted rain" the most. really had lotsa fun and exposure to drama. haiz, pity it doesnt come about in NJ Drama....
Had a pathetic day in sch. slept like 5 min in math lecture la and amos caught my shameful plight, trying hard to keep my eyes open...and like i had a headache.the after-effects of the gathering at wendy's. and the worst was Chem la. 8 wrong for MCQs and 4 were careless. SHaT! ): hopefully next week would be better. :) hope RHD ends soon! and yup the promotion parade's confirmed to be next week. yay. for those who got promoted, congratualations. for the rest, as usual, work harder, the next one's not far off, sometime this yr la.

Investiture today. Like wendy said, all things that can go wrong went wrong. haha classic. nvm as long as audience didnt noe. well, some of the invited schools said that they felt kinda neglected...oersight on our part, perhaps we could improve next time. anyways my ad-hoc's finally over, the rest of u, good luck, esp all coming logs ICs hAhAAha. Oops. :p
Now that invest is over, alot of overdue stuff need to be settled. mus list here to remind myself:
1. nametags with wrong names. pls come to me if ur nametag has printing errors. now only ferleen got probs with it.
2. xiaomin's nametag as sample. haven got back from EMI.
3. Collar pins. Need to settle AsAp.
4. Seafood and ignis outings, ignis on sun, seafood after NDC haha.
5. Temasek sem tml(hope can see the victorians) and gathering at wendy's. miss em lots.
6.fri exco meeting. hehe someplaces need cleaning up ;)
7. Mus give out souvenirs to P, VPs, 10 TICs.
8. Mus finish my chem(all equilibria), physics (fluids) and maths(hols and coord geog)tutorials. Piled up HW, ARGH!
9. Settle debts for invest. need to be done by fri. ARGH. pls pass me receipts by then if not no more claims can be made.hehe.
10. arrange make-up pract. with mr ong. haiz hate make ups.
11. Get list of promotion from hui sim mdm and go for meetign at HQ on sun 1030. YUCKS!

Feels like day one of term 3. 1/4 of JC life has gone by. One day before investiture. Did some last minute tidying up like placing programme bklets, adjusting deco, shifting tables and sorting nametags. jus hope that everything goes well tml. Can remember 3 yrs ago in gd ol' cat high, when it was my first investiture. was quite excited. wasnt organising then u see, but now it's kind of like hoping for the best. haha. something like last yr. shock everywhere. Still, went to get a small gift for simin, the outgoing treasurer. later still have to draw logs list and finalise seating...put down here to remind myself. think i'd trash HW tonight and rest early..dont feel like doing anything anyway. if this goes on i'll only flop my promos...not that CT is any good anyway:( kinda feeling better that investiture's going to be over. at least nametags got settled today. HAPPY:) cos that's like the bulk of my work haha. biggest part of invest. logs. gd luck to open day logs and all other comms. :D

spent the night at weiming's with yy,daniel,brandu,kc,dominic and alaric. been some time since we did anything like that. JC just overshadows your life....nd uh, greece won, like 1-0 and i can remember cos i was woken up at the pt when they scored...kinda like slept thru the thing, lasting till the 25th min or so.
Then i had to leave early in the morning, 0600h, for sch to rehearse for invest, being the only pathetic souls to be in school by 0700h.(shihan if u ever read this, KC was SNORING AWAY like there was no tommorrow!!!) luckily we ended at 2+ today unlike wednesday when it was almost 12 when i got home.brrr. but im more tired today....almost slept standing on the train back..knee giving way a few times, so malU! but that's nothing new.the last time something like that happened i got caught for being asleep while on duty by my SJ officers.-_-''' didnt even have breakfast when i left and had like late lunch at 1530h...but wasok la didnt suffer like major injuries. haha.
School really starts tml, the academic term...used to hols after major papers but it's weird that u are going to be subject to information overload. and the thought that SPAs are slotted in between the weeks is not exactly comforting. The one fortunate thing is that my adhoc project,ie investiture, would be over by wed and things SHOULD get better. :P Not realli in the mood to do any HW now...guess i'll slack till sleeping time...PH CH MC dont really appeal to me at a time like this..tried doing at weiming's yesterday but.....

Common tests are OVER! over and done for. now comes the waiting part. haha but i cant care less now, not at a moment when it seems that there's nothing holding u back from escaping the monotony of (study-sleep-eat-test-study). haiz. that was my aim for the past week and it's not good for mind body and soul haha. wanna sound like a yoga guru.
seee going nuts.... considering that i only have from the last wednesday of the holidays to study, i shouldnt complain much ya?
Had sushi buffet today at sushi, amos and MY without char. suki sushi cant compare to sakae....some food not fresh and service not very gd, got black face one...quite slow too. then went to wander about taka-wisma that stretch, quite boring la nothing new. Didnt really get to talk much today...it always happens that when i go out with my class ppl there's really nothing to talk abt..i wonder y...then went to daniel lee's...had fun at the PS2 console, playing MVC2 and Xmen. haha simple things in life. then went for dinner at kovan and later sat at macs till like 2130 but due to some misguidance from daniel, we boarded the bus back at around 2215...haha still the same.
Tml going to watch spiderman2 at cine at 1 but am going to do personal grooming in the morning haha. like how they do pets ya? dont be blur...maebe go bugis in between...see how first and ttk got some outing dunno if can go or not...shall see.dunno if can fit time to study Chem SPA skill A.haiz
